8972 Mallard Duck (Acrylic) Jerry Yarnell – Inspiration of Painting PBS Television Series
Acrylic Painting Tutorial – 85 Minutes | 18x24 Canvas | Beginner Level

In this beautiful beginner acrylic painting lesson from the Jerry Yarnell you’ll learn how to paint a realistic mallard duck in flight over a peaceful marsh landscape. This step-by-step wildlife painting tutorial captures the motion of wings in midair, reflective water surfaces, and the soft atmospheric tones of an early morning wetland scene.

This beginner-friendly acrylic wildlife tutorial also teaches how to create depth in a marsh landscape by layering grasses, shoreline elements, and distant background trees with soft atmospheric blending. Jerry explains how to paint calm water reflections, subtle sky color transitions, and balanced light and shadow to give the entire scene dimension and realism.

Perfect for artists interested in bird painting, wildlife art, or learning how to paint realistic animals in acrylics, this 85-minute instructional video builds confidence while strengthening foundational skills in proportion, feather detail, water reflections, and landscape composition.
